What’s Included in Your Experience
Customised Session: A tailored 2-hour session that matches your experience level and creative goals.
Provided Materials: All necessary tools, materials, and equipment are supplied (excludes firing fee).
Expert Guidance: Individualised instruction throughout the session.
Take-Home Creations: Your unique pottery piece to cherish (allow 4–6 weeks for the firing process).
Pricing
Primary Participant (7+): £90 for the 2-hour session.
Additional Participants (16+): Add friends or family for £40 per person.
Additional Participants (7 to 15): Add friends or family for £30 per person.
Firing Fee
While materials and tools are included, there is a small firing fee based on the weight of the unfired clay. Each participant has 1 kg included in their ticket fee, and any additional weight will be charged as follows:
Stoneware: £1 per 100 grams.
White Stoneware: £1.05 per 100 grams.
Shared Studio Environment
At Lovebird Studios, we value community and creativity. Please note that this is a shared studio space, meaning other potters may be working alongside you during your session. We ensure a respectful and collaborative atmosphere, so everyone can enjoy their time with clay. This may differ with children's parties.
Safeguarding Minors
At Lovebird Studios, the safety and wellbeing of all participants, especially minors, are of utmost importance. To ensure compliance with UK safeguarding laws and best practices:
DBS-Checked Staff: Our instructors and staff are fully vetted and have completed enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.
Supervision: Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated adult at all times.
Clear Safety Guidelines: Age-appropriate instructions and demonstrations are provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for younger participants.
First Aider: Our team includes certified first-aiders who are equipped to handle minor injuries or incidents.
Parental Consent: For minors attending without their parent/guardian, a signed consent form is required before participation.
Important Information
Safety of Your Work: Our experienced staff will handle and fire your ceramic pieces with care. However, the nature of ceramics means occasional technical failures or breakages can occur. While we take every precaution, Lovebird Studios cannot be held responsible for such incidents.
Preparation Tips: Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy, and consider trimming your nails for easier handling of clay.
